Regan Edser
Owner & General Contractor
Kapiti Built was founded in 2014 by Regan Edser, a pragmatic and approachable journeyman carpenter with over 20 years of industry experience. Regan began his career as an assistant and worked his way up to superintendent for one of Canada’s largest residential spec home builders. With a deep passion for craftsmanship and quality, he established Kapiti Built to bring a more personal, hands-on approach to home building. Today, the company is known in the Central Okanagan for its trusted service, attention to detail, and commitment to building and renovating homes with care and integrity.
Our Promise
We are committed to transparency and accountability, setting clear expectations and timelines; ensuring that you are informed and feeling confident going into each stage of the build or renovation process.
Environment
At Kapiti Built, we prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly practices in all aspects of our work. We minimize environmental impacts by using sustainable products and materials and adhere to or exceed the Step Code Initiatives. With multiple Step Code projects completed or underway, Kapiti has the experience to meet new industry standards seamlessly.
And our efforts go beyond using eco-friendly products; we also focus on reducing construction and demolition waste. Led by Charity Edser, a professional with a degree in environmental management, Kapiti’s commitment to sort, recycle or donate reusable items to organizations like Habitat for Humanity is reflective of our dedication to a sustainable industry and healthier planet.

In the Community

Kapiti Built is also committed to giving back to the community through weekly volunteer efforts at the Lake Country Food Bank’s food recovery department, where they sort off-shelf fruits and vegetables from local grocers. This initiative aligns with our dedication to waste reduction practices and reflects our genuine care for the well-being of those in our community.
